travel from montego to P.A.
Help- need advice on best way to get from Montego Bay to Port Antonio. We fly into Montego Bay on Saturday but are staying for 1 week in Port Antonio. We arrive 1 hr after the daily flight on Jamaica Express to Ocho Rios. Should we drive? How long is the drive? How hard/dangerous is it?
Thanks

It's a l-o-n-g 6 hours/don't drive.
Either change tix to Kingston and connect AJX flights to Portee if same day timing works/or have driver pick you up at Kingston airport for the 2 hour drive.Don't attempt the drive from Kingston to Portee yourself. Or stay over a night in MoBay (Hotel Montego is a decent/safe/relatively cheap place 3 min.from MoBay airport if you need a layover hotel for a single evening) and take next day's flight.

We drove it (we enjoy driving in JA though) but we stopped for a couple of nights near Port Maria (a bit more than halfway as we couldn't have made Port A by dark).
Kingston is much closer or look into taking Tim Air from MoBay to Oracabessa (east of Ochi...I think that's where the "ochi" airport actually is).
