Is there a regular ferry service between Tortola and Virgin Gorda ? If there is how frequently does it run and does it run every day of the week ?

Thanks so much for the info. In Road Town - do you know if the Ferry leaves near the dock cruise ships dock at ?<BR>Also do you know the fare from Tortola to Virgin Gorda ?

Two years ago the fare was about $10-15 per person one way on the ferry, if memory serves me right. The ferries leave from a dock at the east end of the island (tortola, beef island) and there is a free shuttle from the airport to the ferry dock ( about a one minute ride) don't know where the cruise ships dock, sorry.

There are different ferry stations on Tortola:
arriving on the airport Beef Island/Tortola you should take the ferry NORTH SOUND EXPRESS, it's close by the airport, it's a very fast and nice boat ride, cost for one way is US$ 20 (at night it's a little bit more expensive, if I remeber well it's then US$ 30); make a reservation!
SPEEDY'S ans SMITH ferries are leaving at the ferry dock in Road Town, which is a 30 min. drive by taxi from the airport. SPEEDY'S is US$ 15 one way, SMITH is US$ 12 one way, if you buy a return ticket, you'll save a few dollars.
