topless beaches
I would like information on topless beaches that any one has visited in islands and if they were positive experiences, I have been to a few but would like to know of others where people have felt comfortable.

I can only speak from my experience in Negril, along the wondermous 7-mile beach, but the resorts we have been to all allow topless. maybe some of the "family oriented do not"...but haven't been to one of those.

In Aruba, topless was more prevalent in the Bucuti/Manchebo area (south end of Eagle Beach), but we also saw some topless-ness in the Palm Beach area and even at the beach area in front of La Cabana, which is a family-oriented resort.
We stayed at the Manchebo and there were lots of women sunbathing topless, but very few walking around without tops. I don't think you'll see it at any of the hotel pools in Aruba.

St. Martin - the French side - never had any problems whatsoever. AT Orient Beach where the nudist colony is you can go naked as well. People walk along Orient Beach in all stages of undress and no one even blinks an eye. If you go to the nudist beach and go topless it is very nice because cameras are not allowed.

Besides New Providence (Nassau) and Grand Bahama, any one of over 700 Bahamian rocks, cays, and out-islands with desolate beachers, from Walker's Cay in northern Abaco to Great Iguana Island just north of Haiti and Cuba. Robert

There is a lot of toplessness in Curacao. We saw it both at the resorts and the "public" beaches. Since it is a dutch colony, there are many, many Dutch people there vacationing and living, as well as South Americans vacationing. They don't give taking off they're tops a second thought. No one was walking around or up to the bar w/o tops, they were just sunbathing.
