I'm having fun looking through all the interesting messages here at Fodor's, but people do seem a tad uptight and harsh at times.
Especially to new visitors.
I think some of you need to take your own advice and go on a terrific vacation! You seem to be smart enough about all the really neat places in the Caribbean.
But thank yo uto those who were nice enough to offer suggestions.
And to anon, I was very fortunate to land my man. He comes from money and will inherit daddy's shopping center business one day. I'm really looking forward to my new life and want to start it off with a great weddingmoon!
Dolly

Dolly,
Good luck with your shopping center heir, you'll need it no doubt.
If you think that an all inclusive is classy and elegant and "super exclusive", think again.
Someone posted that the very wealthy rent private fully staffed villas.... that is correct. The wealthy don't frequent the buffet lines at all-inclusive resorts.
I still think you are a troll, you're a tad too clever, but in the even you are for real, best of luck and I hope your "weddingmoon" is "romanterrific".

just found this site. Tooo funny but wish there was more information about the Karib rather than all the puffing and posturing. Too bad there isn't more well informed posters.
Caneel Bay was NEVER all inclusive. The meals were included when it was a RockResort but the bar tab and some activities were on you. Your room choice also determined the restaurant you could eat and if you were in the less expensive rooms there was a surcharge to upgrade and eat in Turtle Bay for finer dining.

Thanks Karib,
There are lots of people on here who puff and posture but have very little knowledge of the Caribbean.
And this thread is foolish in the extreme. Can you just picture a Town and Country write up of Dolly's "Private Romanterrific All Inclusive Weddingmoon" at Sandals??? And what exactly does "bestest" mean?

Dolly,
I need you to please get in touch with me so that we may make arrangements to properly document your wedding and honeymoon for Town and Country.
Don't pay any attention to those who doubt you. Those of us in the know understand about the stresses of planning a society weddingmoon.
