T&C Restaurants

We are going to Turks & Caicos in early Nov. and staying at the Royal West Indies. We have not been there in 6 yrs and understand that it has grown up quite a bit i.e. way more restaurants. We're looking for restaurant recommendations - love seafood, stylish, good service, outside seating/views. Any price range. I'm guessing we'll be taking cabs unless there are nice places within walking distance of our condo. Any recommendations are appreciated.

Da Conch Shack in Blue Hills (used to be Bugaloos)

Grace's Cottage (you must have the chocolate souffle - it is out of this world!)

The restaurant onsite - Mango Reef - was good as well for casual bites.

Baci in Turtle Cove

There are plenty others that people recommend like Coyaba, Cocoa Bistro, Magnolia, but we have not had a chance to try those out yet.

Enjoy your trip!

Mymoosie gave excellent recommendations. The beauty of Coyoba is that moved and is now in walking distance from RWI. Anocoana is also in walking distance, as is Coco Bistro. Even if you don't eat at Anocoana, go for drinks, the bar is gorgeous! Grace's Cottage is one of my favorites. It's at Point Grace.Tiki Hut has delicious ribs on Wednesday nights, but skip the chicken. (and they are a bargain Wed nights-go earlier, it gets crowded.)
I'll stop now, I'm getting hungry, and it's only 8 AM!

I agree with the above recommendations and would add Magnolia Wine Bar and Restaurant and Aqua both in Turtle Cove. You also might consider Lobster night at Fairways at the Provo golf club. They prepare lobster six diferent ways. Think it is several nights a week so call first.

P.S. Try the tuna at Magnolia and the pecan crusted conch at Aqua.

have to second aqua bar. anacona is fabulous and romantic. sharkbite or tiki hut have great burgers. we enjoyed an excellent meal at bella luna this past april - italian prepared by chef/owner. if price is no issue perhaps lunch at the new amanyara out on malcolm road beach.
p.s. if you haven't been in 6 years you are in for some big surprises! a lot of growth.
also read this trip report from caribtraveler. http://www.fodors.com/forums/threadselect.jsp?fid=5 she just got back and gives some very detailed dining reports.

Thanks so much everyone for the great advice. We can't wait and are preparing for a big shock with the changes. We've been going to Barbados for the past 6 years so if anyone needs any recommendations there, let me know.
