T and C question about Sibonne

We are still looking into options for our vacation later this year. T and C is a possibility. It looks like Sibonne is a small boutique style hotel. We loved the Alamanda in St Martin and I'm looking for other properties that are similar to it on other islands. I've found info that states Sibonne in T and C has breakfast available and discourages children which are two pluses. Does the hotel also have drink service at the beach/pool? Is there any entertainment at night close by? Thanks for your help.

We stayed at Sibonne before it became Sibonne (it was Le Deck then). We liked it very much. It is small and intimate and quiet. The pool is extremely small - something to consider if a pool is important to you. The beach front is wonderful. The outdoor breakfast area is literally a step or two from the beach - great for early morning beach viewing. When we were there there was no drink service at the beach (can't remember about the pool) but everything is only steps away anyway. The gardens are very lush and attractive - so lush that although the beach is steps away you can't always see it from all rooms. We loved this hotel but it is not to everyone's taste.

Sibonne is a very nice place to stay. Agree with the above poster--pol is small, restaurant (Bay Bistro) is open for breakfast lunch and dinner and is very good. If I stayed there I would stay in the one bedroom apartment with kitchen or one of the two suites below it. Think they are called premier suites. As far as I know they don't porvide pool/beach drink service but the bar is only a few steps away. I'm sure if you ordered a drink they would bring it to you. Not a lot of entertainment on Provo. There is a BBQue at The Sands next door on Tuesday with live music, Wed Fri and Sat live music during dinner at Anacona. Friday Night music at Calico Jacks and also live music at Danny Buoys but forget which night.

Howard....did a little more research on this one and it appears as though there is/was? a bingo night at the Banana Boat restaurant on Sundays at 7:00pm. At the Turtle Cove marina, correct? Looking for reviews of this restaurant and comments from anyone who perhaps has attended their bingo night. Also, would be interested to know if children are allowed to play?

The info I found out is that yes it is at Banana Boat in Turtle Cove on Sunday at 6:30. Have only had lunch there several years ago and it was okay. Wouldn't say it is among the better restaurants on Provo. More like a bar that serves food. Would call to see if children can play. Don't see why not.

Thanks, Howard. Since I heard money can be won, I thought it might be considered "gambling" and children would not be able to play....but I'll find out.

I'm going to start a separate thread on this since it may have gotten lost in this one.

I think that if Children are with an adult it shouldn't be a problem. "Gambling" rules are a lot more lenient in the islands than the states

Thank you all for your responses. We are still undecided on where to go next. If we decide to go to Turks and Caicos, I'm sure I'll have many more questions for you guys.
