Has anyone stayed here lately? If so, Which room? They have three available for our time frame,Nob Hill, Santa Barbara, and DelMar. We wanted to rent a villa but many of the smaller,less expensive ones are booked.

Another option is Tree House through privatehomesvi.com (they have villas located in different spots throughout the island and they are wonderful!) We have stayed at Tree House before and it was great. A one week stay at Tree House anytime from April to December is only $980 and that gives you an entire house with everything you need. You can also save $$$ by bringing food in a cooler down with you to St.John and cooking in. They have everything you need to do so. We have also stayed at Tesseract through them, but it is more expensive. We are going back this summer and staying in Viewtiful whihc is right next door to Tree House! Good Luck

We are going in June to St.John.We did have 2 rooms booked at St.John Inn..Nob Hill and Santa Barbara..but we found a villa through vivacations.com..so we cancelled.

I have never stayed at SJI before..but it looks to be nice.We are going for a week..so we thought that a villa would be better with kids.However,if you cannot find one SJI looks nice for the money.When are you going?The villa that we are renting,Bamboo..I think is available the last week in May..that is the week before we go.It is 1300 for 6 people for 1 week.Good luck!!

I'm planning my first trip to St. John for next year. You might want to read the reviews for SJI in tripadvisor. Two of the three were not exactly what you would call complimentary.

They have quite a few. Go to the st. John section, and then on the left hand side of the page you should see something that says villa reviews...actually, I started clicking around, and I think this will take you directly to the reviews.
