Sevice/pampering

Hi! Hope you all can help. For our vacation next year my wife and I decided on going for service/pampering. We love all the islands. So what is/are the best resort(s) for service and/or pampering among the islands.

Keith

Super Clubs Grand Lido Sans Souci, Jamaica. Get a massage by the beach--spend a few hours in the spa--order a frosty drink on the beach--etc. etc.--service is for the pampered!

Look into the upscale Maroma Hotel on the Caribbean Coast of Mexico (40 mins. from Cancun)--noted for service. Noticed on the Discovery Channel--maybe posted on Discovery.Com Feb. '02. Apparently their beachfront was included in best beaches of the world segment on Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. Fodors online destination guides has listing under Mexico-Caribbean Coast. Website is maromahotel.com. They have a spa--snorkling, eco-tours, ruins tours, golf nearby and fresh fish specialty in french style.

For your information, just located the Maroma Hotel in Discovery.Com--Travel section--Beach Guide--Best Beaches of the World--click on map Maroma Beach Mexico--read article on Maroma and their beach.

Maroma is a lovely property but don't know the impact that the recent newly built all-inclusive right next door has had on the property. Certainly fantastic staff. High end prices for Mexico for sure! Not one of my favorites but loved the isolation and seculsion. Do not stay in the Rosa building and was not in the same comfort level for pampering as some of the other luxurious properties in the Caribbean - Four Seasons, Cap Juluca and the like.

CuisinArt or Cap juluca on Anguilla or Jumby Bay, Antigua. Ocean Club Bahamas!
