Sandals Royal Bahamian - whats the truth?
i was hoping to book the arrangements for my honeymoon this week. i am leaning toward SRB due convience, AI, couples only, etc. my only concern is the major difference in reviews.
i've seen everything from "this is the nicest place i've ever stayed" to "parts of the wall and ceiling were caving in".
i understand that more people who've had bad experiences usually post than those who've had great experiences. my question is, has anyone actually been to this resort recently who can actually attest to the condition. i want to plan a very nice trip for my future wife and just don't want her to be disappointed

Try this board. It owned and operated by a Sandals Specialist travel agent. Contains lots of information about all the Sandals resorts.

Have you checked Trip Advisor. That site usually has the most current info and pictures.
Keep in mind to take reviews with a grain of salt. Not everyone is easily pleased and high expectations usally get in the way of judgement.
If your interested, here's the link to our picture site. Might help with your decision.

I've been to SRB it's cold because it's in the Atlantic not the Carribbean Sea. If like to spend a lot of time in the pool you probably won't because it's too cold. I was there the middle of March. Food was great, rooms OK, small for the money. My last two trips to a Sandals, Jamaica, were bad experiences. Photo shoot closed down portions of the resort throughout the week with no advance warning. The next year staff were rude and just didn't seem to care. I had been a loyal Sandals customer but I'm through with them. When I started going there everything was truly all included, now it's extra or not there at all. I've gone 11 times and am done.
I've discovered that Marriott has some great all inclusives in the Carribbean at a much better price. That's what I plan to try next.
