Romantic 30th Anniversary Ideas

My wife and I are celebrating 30 years of marriage this February...would like to take her to an extremely romantic resort...not too overly expensive...any suggestions?

Rock House in Negril, Jamaica. Look at pictures on Trip Advisor. We loved it and the food in Negril is good as well without being overly expensive.

In my estimation it doesn't get any more romantic than the island of Anguilla. I know you had mentioned that your not looking to spend a fortune so I won't recommend any of the Big three resorts. I will recommend the resort Ku, Turtles Nest and Frangipani. A good source to learn more about this island is:
www.anguillaguide.com

It's the most romantic place we've ever been!

Good suggestion by the last post. We stayed at Ku a couple of years ago and loved it. The beach is so amazing and Anguilla is known for its great food.

You could stay at The St. James’s Club in Antigua and do an AI plan. That would help with expenses. You could still enjoy romantic dinners and bask on one of the white-sand beaches. The resort does offer complimentary water sports such as kayaking, snorkeling and sailing if you want some activity.

If you are looking for true romance, then get away from the crowds, and rent a private villa. Depending on what type of island you prefer will vary your choices. St John has more villas that you can imagine, and many are VERY affordable. Find something with a great view, pool, hot tub, cook dinners in, and just enjoy eachother. To me, that is way more romantic than any resort out there.
