got back last month from cancun and had a hard time deciding between rc and jw marriott. i chose jw and i am glad we did. i looked at rc but felt like jw was a nicer place. they are both rated 1 and 2 in cancun.

the pool area is fantastic, better than rc. the beds are not as soft as the rc but they were fine. lot of kids at jw.

Were there less kids at the RC? We don't have kids, therefore prefer a place with less kids running around. Your thoughts are appreciated. Thanks

didnt stay at rc only jw. walked thru and checked out rc. dont worry about jw, it has such a large pool area, you can always find an area without alot of kids. also, you are getting 2 hotels for the price of one, you have the very large casa magna next door. the beach is the same but the jw pool is fantastic.

Have stayed at both the RC CUN and the JW CUN. What is your priority? If I were to visit so that I had a private trist with my wife or lover, I would opt for the RC. If I wanted the kidlets to have great time, I'd go to the JW. If I wanted a spa vacation with girlfriends, I would opt for the JW. If I wanted superior attention and service, I would definitely visit the RC!
