Resort with great pool?
For our honeymoon, my fiance and I want a resort with, among other things, a fun pool. We stayed at the Grand Wailea in Maui a couple of years ago and had so much fun spending the day in the "water park." Can anyone suggest a Caribbean resort that is known for their pool?

With all due respect to Parrot Cay, the pools at the Grand Wailea vs. Parrot Cay is like comparing A Porsche Turbo to a Mini Cooper. They both have their finer attributes, but if the original poster was impressed with the GW, then there are no Caribbean resorts other than Atlantis which will compare pool-wise (and I'd definitely take the GW over Atlantis between those two).
If I'm reading mma73's wishes correctly, the goal is a pool system with foliage, waterfalls, slides, different levels, etc. Those types of pools aren't as common in the Caribbean as they are in Hawaii (on a per capita basis). The Hyatt Aruba is a lite version of the GW's pools, Sandy Lane's pools are very nice but not so activity oriented. I can't think of any others off the top of my head. I can think of a half dozen on Maui alone.

I would think Atlantis would be the only resort with the kind of pool you are thinking of. There is no water elevator or tropical rainforest waterslides though.
The caribbean water is so beautiful that in most resorts the pool is just that - a pool. The real beauty in the caribbean is in the beaches..calm, clear, tranquil, bathtub warm water, something Maui does not have as the water can be rough so they have magnificent swimming pools as most don't like to tough out the surf.
