rain?
Im off to Provo Saturday (Apr17) to the 24th, and weather.com has rain/thunderstorms EVERYDAY!! Is this possible, or is T&C one of those places where it rains for a few minutes and then clears up.
There doesnt seem to be much to do there if its raining.

Everyone has just got to stop looking at weather forecasts for the Caribbean - they are islands and you cannot predict island weather to any degree of certainty because conditions just change too fast. Unless there is a hurricane or major storm system bearing down, then give up on the predictions - and even with hurricanes, they change course within a matter of hours.

In the Caribbean, rain forcast every day means it might rain for 15 minutes to an hour tops, usually late afternoon. But cartera45 is right, unless it is hurricane season, you pretty much should stop worrying about the weather on the islands. Its always fabulous! And most of the time the short rain shower never comes.

Hey! I too am off to Provo on the 17th, flying American Airlines out of Boston. And I was so glad to see your post. I've been driving my family nuts with the weather worrying. But I wrote the owner of the Ocean Beach Club condo where we're staying in North Caicos and she said the same things as cartera45 and chelimn. WHere are you staying?

Greetings from Maine....where we are getting around by boat...even on land ;-) !
I think as our departure dates get closer, we may make the mistake of compulsing about weather forecasts.
My feeling is that rain in the islands is at least warm rain...and may just produce a rainbow
!
Relax and enjoy ! I'm leaving for Jamaica on 4/17 and expect that any showers there will be far better than snow/sleet/freezing rain
!
And I will finally be BAREFOOT...even in the rain !
