should I be worried?
We're finally leaving...today, for a glorious week in Provo. It's our first time there, and I glanced at the 10 day forecast and it said rain the whole week!!
Please tell me that it doeasn't really mean that. Unless it does?

Chances are very good that you'll have a vacation full of sunshine. Most weather forecasts in the region cover a larger area than just a single island, at least in the Caribbean, and it usually does rain a little bit every day, though perhaps not more than 30 minutes and even that might be at night.
It would be HIGHLY unusual at this time of year to have 10 days of solid rain in T&C. Despite that, it's always good to have a rainy day plan or two just in case.

No one should every worry about the weather in the Caribbean!
Visitors to the Caribbean should never look at the weather web-sites as they always predict rain. If you looked at them everyday for a year you'd sware the sun never shines in the islands. You can get lots of helpful information on the internet but predicting tropical weather is not something that is done well.
Don't fret - you'll have more need for sunblock than you will for an umbrella.

Thanks all. We're going on, alas, dire internet predictions not withstanding. You have all been a great help over the last few months; I feel well prepared.
I'll post a report when we return.

Our last 2 Caribbean vacations it rained on and off everyday. St. Thomas in May '05 and St. Lucia in Nov. '05. It didn't ruin our trips, but it was annoying. However, it was still better than being at home. Since we can't predict the weather, just go with the flow.
We are booked for T & C in 7 weeks. Will be interested in your report when you return. Have a great and safe trip.
