Peter Island Restaurants

We'll be staying for two evenings...Saturday and Sunday....Saturday night is the buffet at Tradewinds....is it fabulous?...we usually avoid buffets...should we have dinner at Deadman's instead ?? and dinner at Tradewinds on Sunday night.

Thank you.

You can't chose which restaurant to eat at on Peter Island. When one is open, the other is not. Now, we were there only once, so I don't know if it's a seasonal thing. No buffet when we were there at either restaurant [we were there from a Wednesday-Sunday in October 2004], only menus. Food was really good, by the way.

I was also there this past October and the food was indeed excellent. Maybe they open both restaurants at night during high season because we were there in low season? If their menu food was really good I'm sure you can't go wrong with their buffet. - Susan

I'm envious. We loved it. Both Susan (the above poster) and I posted trip reports and pictures. Take a look at them if you haven't already (just do a search for our screennames).
Have a great time.

I'm not a fan of buffets either. We thought the food at Peter Island was generally pretty good, and the buffet with o.k. It was definitely the worst meal we had the week we were there, but it was not that bad.

As for both restaurants being open, we were there in February, and on the night of the buffet, that was the only option for dining; however, both restaurants were open every other night.
