Thanks ANON, you're exactly NOT the people we're talking too. Other people just might feel this informative. <BR><BR>To the other posts, the entire bay in front of Cap J is great for snorkling! We're venturing off the property today, going to Shoal Bay.<BR><BR>Didn't have dessert at Olivers, too full!<BR><BR>Last night we ate at Pimm's. AWSOME! To much to say about the exact menu. I'll fill you in later.

David-I have yet to see a fish on Maundays Bay, except some small fry, and a few over by Pimms. <BR>Not good for snorkeling! Shoal Bay east is much better!<BR>Did you do the Fri. night sunset cruise?<BR>Sounds like you are having fun!<BR>Wish I was there!!

So the snorkeling in the entire bay in front of Cap Jaluca is great? Could you tell us more about it, like the size and depth of the reef, how far from shore, etc? What other reefs in the Caribbean does it compare to?

Tom<BR><BR>There is no reef at Maundays Bay (not within swimming distance anyway - unless you count the rocks at either end of the bay) and the snorkelling was crap. Swimming with chrystal clear water might be good for a novice snorkeller but wouldn't excite someone who's snorkelled elsewhere.

That's the problem with reviews on sites like this...David probably really thinks snorkeling off Crap Jaluca is great. If so, he's obviously never experienced decent snorkelling.
