Montigo Bay

My fiance and I are going to the sandals resort in Montigo bay for our honeymoon. I was wondering if anyone can tell me anything about it? What sort of things there are to do in Jamaica? Thanks

Which Sandals in MoBay are you going to? Both are wonderful - Sandals MoBay is more active, very large, private beach, tons to do - great fun. Sandals Royal is more relaxing, great off shore island.

Margartaville is alot of fun - the cruise from the resorts goes there. Dunn's River Falls alot of people do - beleive it stops at Sandals Dunn's for lunch but is a hike - about an hour and half trip to get there. If you have a day, head out to NEgril.

Definitely go to Dunns River Falls. You can probably book a tour thru the hotel. It's a great experience.

We also enjoyed "An Evening on the Great River."

Have fun and congrats!

We stayed at Sanals Mo Bay resort and had a great time! The porperty wasn't great looking.. but the beach there was fantastic! The food was great and so was teh service. We did the booze cruise from the resort to Margaritaville.. had a blast! You must do teh Dunn's River Falls Excursion. We did the 1/2 day tour.

We did visit the Royal Caribbean resort for one night.. it was very nice.. but a more relaxed and smaller environment than the Mo Bat resort.

Both are very nice.. the airport is right there so you do hear planes flying over now and then.

We just got back from our honeymoon on 7/9 - we stayed at Sandals Mobay. We had a great time. Do the booze cruise and Dunns River (we only did the 1/2 day). We also went shopping in the city (guided tour) - I couldve done without that. The resort was nice, but could have been cleaner. The service and people were great! Make sure you make dinner reservations the day you get to the resort - the restuarants fill up fast. The planes are very close, but you'll get used to it! Have a great time!

See montego-bay-jamaica.com
Book dinner at Round Hill, Tapas and Glistening Waters/Falmouth. Souvenir hunt at the Gallery of West Indian Art if you go downtown. Humidor=fresh Cuban cigars at Rainbow Souvenirs,Ironshore, just out of town.
Do a day trip with private car/driver to YS FALLS and BLACK River on the South Coast with lunch at Culloden Cafe in Whitehouse. In other words, get out of Sandals as much as you possibly can
