www.caribbeanweddings.com A lot have residency requirements which require 72 hrs or longer stay before you can get married. Others are a lot simpler. This website is a good place to start.

My husband and I were married in Jamaica in 1998---at the Enchanted Garden--All Inclusive, wedding packages available--truly beautiful resort!!!--not beachfront, but shuttles to private beach every 1/2 hour--used to be a botanical garden-----wonderful

I totally agree on the comments about Enchanted Gardens. It is or was a very affordable resort but so beautiful - very lush and tropical. It has been closed for renovations and no word on when they will open.

We were married on a yacht at the Grand Lido Negril - the were very professional in regard to caring for details and the resort is more upscale and beautiful for a wedding. Negril is a terrific side of Jamaica - super long beaches and beautiful sunsets.

We were married over ten years ago at Young Island Resort, St Vincent and the Grenadines. The hotel arranged everything. It's a wonderful place. Very quiet, very romantic. And you can combine your stay with a 3 day sailing excursion complete with captain and cook. Check it out.

I went to a wedding at the Radisson cable Beach in Nassau, Bahamas. It was very nice. It is not the most luxurious resort in the Caribbean, but it had beautiful pools and it is right on water.

Kathy,

Check out Bitter End on Virgin Gorda beyc.com. They do a great job handling weddings. Not cheap, but worth the price.

Penney- I have been concidering Couples Negril/or Grand Lido for a Wedding and just read your post.. we have a bout 30 people coming .. did you have guests? if so did you do the reception on the Yacht?
Normally we travel out side our hotel alot though with 30 guest we feel we have to do an AI any thoughts or experiences would help. I'm worried we might miss the real Jamica doing an AI.
Thanks
