Sorry Katie. I should have said that they didn't have pools with them. BUT..they do have five "cottages" that are oceanfront for you to stay in. Celebrities rent them when they want privacy on their vacation. The place is really nice. When you get a massage at the spa, you go outside to one of the cottages that are for the spa and you get your massage in there. It is really cool because you feel like you are Indonesia. It contains a huge changing room with double showers, the actual massage room that is open to the private patio with flowers, a fountain, a double canopied bed with a hot tub for two right by the bed..in the garden. I am assuming it is for couples, etc that want to spend the day in privacy after a massage. You can lounge on the bed after or before your massage and the tub is used for those special baths with oils, etc. All rooms are stocked FULL of food and goodies THAT ARE FREE...you don't have to pay for it as you eat it...which suprised me. The candies and snacks are in this huge basket. The food there is really good too. It was just a really nice, romantic place to stay. I would love to go back sometime.

St. John U.S. Virgin Islands has the Westin which is a comprehensive resort with all the spa amenities and also offers 1-3 bedroom private villas with small private pools and gardens. If you really want to get away from the kids, try Peter Bay (not to be confused with Peter Island) or other such villas. These private villas are definitely "Hollywood" class fancy with gorgeous everything. The property managers are also able to arrange specific maid service, a private chef, and visiting masseur/masseuses etc. These places will run you around $20,000/week, but will offer you the privacy and amenities you seek. Also, there are direct flights (just under 4 hours)from NY to St. Thomas, the local arrival point.
