Looking for Julie who went to Atlantis on Oct. 7
Julie, I was just wondering how you made out there last month. Everybody gave you such a hard time for wanting a little info on Atlantis, such mean people in this world. Anyway, did you have a good time, I hope you did! I'm going there in April and I'd like to know what you thought of the place. Thanx

Yes, I went. And everyone was right.
Atlantis was overpriced and not really a very good value for the dollar.
The food was probably the worst thing. Not all that great but really expensive, like $34 for a plate of pasta or Asian food, without salad or drink or dessert.
Rooms were OK but not at all what you'd expect for $300 per night.
Oh well. Live and learn.

Julie,I'm sorry you had a terrible time. You said the food wasn't good and the room was ok but you didn't say anything about the pools, slides, the Dig,the grounds, etc. We're not going there for the food or the room.we know that they are not up to par with other places we've been.We just want to make sure that the kids are going to have a good time, did yours?Ours are a bit younger than yours,10 and 13.Please reply again with the info I have asked about, thanx in advance.

Sally,
That is not the real Julie responding. I'm sure after the responses she received, she's not hanging around this site any more. Linda T went last week. Maybe she'll report back. In the meantime, just look forward to your trip. You've done your research and know what to expect, warts and all! Our 11 and 13 year old talk about it all the time, and remember it as the most fun vacation ever (including Disney, Europe, skiing, and some other elegant properties.) I'm sure you will have a wonderful time. Relax!
