They are right next door to each other on a spectacular beach so it doesn't matter beach-wise. Ku is recently refurbished but with a few growing pains here & there. Both are getting great reviews. I'm assuming you're male (Baron???); if you are female, I would say SBV as you would get a little more "hands on" attention from the managers. The place to BE but not STAY is Sandy Ground where there's live music at Johnno's, the Pumphouse & Sunsets near every night.

Thinking of going to Anguilla in 2007. What were the "growing pains"?

Nothing serious -- service issues (towels, light bulbs out, lamps not working, not fast service to fix stuff, ants in the kitchens). Haven't heard the negative stuff lately. Really just working the kinks out.

MaryD,
Did you go thru a Travel Agent or direct to Ku? I only ask since the complaints I read recently.

I didn't stay there -- was staying nearby when they first opened & spent a lot of time at the 75 foot beach bar. I do know people who have stayed there then & recently -- you also may want to read the reviews on tripadvisor.com as the recent ones are all very, very good. From everything I know, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there.
