Jumby Bay
My husband and I will be going to Antigua in July to stay at Cocobay Resort for five nights. I would love to stay at Jumby Bay Resort for a few days after our stay at Cocobay. Is it worth it to pay the money to stay at Jumby Bay for only two nights(maybe three if we can afford it)? How early on the first day could we head over to Jumby Bay? I know check in at most hotels is not until 3pm or so, but it would be nice to spend the entire day on the island. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Becca our first stay at Jumby was only 2 nights, combined with Anguilla. Is it worth it, its really up to you. I find it fun to go to a different resort, yet once I am settled in at my first resort, its why did I do this? So if you want to change hotels, for the experience, why not? As far as early check in, it really depends on how full they are. I would check with Jumby once you are on the island. You could also spend the morning, then go over to Jumby for a nice relaxing lunch, then head off to your room. They are very accomodating!

The hotel is accross the water from the airport, and most of the planes do not fly over the island. Actually its not a real problem, just once in a while a hugh Jumbo jet goes over. I was worried about the planes the first time I went, its not a big deal. As far as the view, it won't affect you at all. That view will be for millions of dollars private homes.
