Honeymoon in September - which island?

My fiance and I are getting married the first weekend in September. We know the Caribbean is famous for hurricanes during that time frame but we are going to take our chances. What is important to us is:
- Sunny, warm weather
- Gorgeous beaches
- Multiple restaurants in the hotel and nice restaurants outside hotel
- Romantic hotel room/suite (own pool, perhaps?)

Any suggestions? We were looking for an all-inclusive resort because who wants to pay for things on their honeymoon? We were thinking Jamaica Club Ortanique at Beaches Grande Sporte - his parents are a member of RCI and this is the only all-inclusive resort outside of a hand-full in Dominican Republic.

But we are open to other islands!! We'd love any feedback!

Thanks so much!

Does it have to be an RCI property?

You will indeed be in the hurricane season and unless you decide to take a cruise I would only stay at the islands in the southern area of the Caribbean such as Barbados (Cobblers Cove with exchange dining) or Aruba with a rental car--restaurants are fantastic. Lots of resorts in Aruba including small properties like the Bucuti. See Fodors online--Destination Guides--click on Caribbean and island from the dropdown lists and select "Hotels". Click on "User Rating" to get travelers comments. Also info from Where2Stay.com (or use Google).

It doens't have to be an RCI property but is adavnatgeous because it is already paid for...no out of pocket expenses.
