Happy Thanksgiving!!!

I just wanted to take a break from working on something boring (and pretend that it is tomorrow and I'm eating copious amounts of mashed potatoes!) and wish everyone a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone gets to wherever they're going safely, and once there, does not want to beat their family members with turkey drumsticks (just joking...okay, maybe that's just my family!).

Happy Turkey Day!

Thanks Christie! I'll be making my first Thanksgiving feast tomorrow. Well, that is with the exception of the Honeybaked Ham turkey that I bought (cleaning out a turkey grosses me out)!

Do the magic cookies allow young children to fly after eating them?

Mah,
LOL..when the kids are acting up..I wish that they could eat one and fly away!

virginia,
No..I bought it at the store. Its by Eagle brand.I do have some family recipes..however this is not one.

I watched Oprah today and she is such a sweet heart..really helping out the Katrina victims like she has...along with everyone else.

Happy Thanksgiving to my Fodors Family!

mah, good luck. (I actually cooked the giblets in their little plastic bag inside the turkey accidentally the first time I did Thanksgiving myself.)

christie, your Thanksgiving sounds great! We are going to a horse show here at the fairgrounds, so no turkey for us. (Ooh, ooh - chicken 'n pastry. One of my faves!)

Virginia - good thought! We do need to think of those who have lost so much this year.

Happy Thanksgiving from the Caribbean! I wish it were a holiday here on my island, but it's not. However, many of us will be eating the traditional trimmings at various restaurants tonight so we will still be celebrating.

Hope everyone has a great holiday!
