Honeymoon Best Island
We are getting married on April 9 and we
are looking the Caribbean for our honeymoon
and the All inclusive resorts.
Which island would you recommend??
What Resort?
We are looking for air fares and we find them
very expensive, any suggestions?
Thank you

Ike,
While MNpages doesn't say where he/she is flying from, she does say she's finding the airfare very expensive.
I think Cap Julaca is potentially out of his/her price range.
MNPages - where are you travelling from?
How much are you budgeting for your honeymoon?
Are there any islands you do or don't want to visit
What are your interests?
The more info we have the better advice we can give

Thanks for your answers.
We are flying either from Ft. Lauderdale
or from Miami, and we have a Budget
of $4,000 for our Honeymoon.
But the air is like $700.00 for each
of us, so we are looking for the best
deal, and we thought of Anguilla,
and St. Lucia, but we are not sure.
Sandals package is $4,000 and the
air almost $1,000.

How committed are you to St. Lucia or Anguilla? If you were to go to Montego Bay, Jamaica instead, your airfare would be MUCH lower (around $250 or $300 round trip/per person). There are a number of beautiful resorts in Montego Bay that you could consider (Round Hill, Sandals, Half Moon) that offer meal plans as part of a honeymoon package or as an add-on). I believe that some of these hotels offer lower rates at the beginning of April (others don't reduce their rates until the middle of the month).

IMHO, by far the most romantic Caribbean island is St Barts. The problem might be the cost, but several good hotels there will offer weekend and honeymoon deals that are pretty reasonable, considering that this island is truly unlike any of the others. Drive around St Barts a bit, get away from the town and into the country, and you might believe you are in Provence.
I don't personally know of any all-inclusive (that is, with airfare) vacations to St Barts, but you can get some pretty reasonable air fares if you search around. A decent air fare and a hotel deal would probably meet your budget, and if you go you will never be able to visit anywhere in the Caribbean without saying to yourself "St Barts is better." Good luck.

How about Grand Cayman (I'm shilling for my island here!).. Spirit flies (from Feb 9th) from Fort Lauderdale.. one hour flight, from $99 each way...with taxes, and assuming you can't get teh very lowest price... say $800 for airfare for two.
Next, five nights at a well known beach resort with a Honeymoon package for US$1525... and you still have over $1500 to spend on watersports, spas, and our islands wealth of quality restaurants... hope it is food for thought.. do consider NOT going the all inclusive route.
