Grand Cayman - Where to Stay!

My husband and I will be celebrating our 10th anniversary in August. Our honeymoon was in Bermuda and we loved it! We considered going back to Elbow Beach, but would like to travel somewhere different! At this point we are leaning toward Grand Cayman. What are the top three places to stay in Grand Cayman? We were thinking of staying at a hotel, but it seems condos are a popular choice as well!

Just to give you a little insight into our travel history, we have been to the Bahamas twice and Aruba this past August. We enjoyed those trips, but Bermuda has been our favorite so far.

Also, is there anywhere else you would suggest? Thank you for your time!

Angie!!!

Seeing at you brought it up, try www.wheretostay.com for visitor reviews.

You might want to check :

http://cayman.wheretostay.com/property/851.html

(that's my place .. best of both worlds, beachfront condos with full resort service)

In my opinion, these are the best places to stay IF you are staying on the beach at Seven Mile Beach in GC (best beachfront and accommadations):
Best hotel on SMB is theWestin. Central SMB has the widest beach, my condo choices would be:
1.) Plantana - We stayed here for a week in December 2003 amd loved it! 2.) CoralStone Club 3.) Villas of the Gaileon, also known as VOG.

If staying on the East end, surly "The Reef" would be your best choice, Toms place.

LOL...you got me Tom! I'll blame it on these cold fingers trying to type here in NJ while thinking of you lucky ones who live on that beautiful Island you call home.

we stayed at the Westin on our trip to Cayman and were very happy; lovely beach, middle of action but yet quiet, easy walk to some restaurants. Elbow Beach is and always will be our favorite. We honeymooned there as well and will go back when time and $$$ permit with 2 kids in tow.
