Grand Cayman Help

Hello,
We've decided on Grand Cayman. I'm bringing my girlfriend and parents. We're looking for a nice place with great location on the beach. We're looking for a 2 bedrooms... a condo, suite, or something off vrbo.com. Is vrbo.com trustworthy (I've never used it)? Any suggestions? We've found a few places on vrbo.com and I'm looking at Plantana for condos.
Open for ANY suggestions please would be immensely appreciated! Thank you everyone

Vrbo is as trustworthy as the individual doing the renting. If it were me, I'd rent through an on-island agent, and there are many of those on Grand Cayman. Many of the Seven Mile Beach condos are in resort-style complexes, so they all have web sites. The Reef Resort on the East End also has 2-bedroom units that are really nice, as well as resort-style amenities, which can be nice.

For a first time visit to Cayman, I'd avoid the east end. I think you'd be much better off staying somewhere along Seven Mile beach. JMHO.

I will be in Grand Cayman in June and have rented a one bedroom apartment at Turtlenest Inn. It is not on 7 mile beach, but it is on the beach and relatively clsoe to 7 mile beach. I have not been yet but eveything I have read this place gets rave reviews (fodors, trip advisor) for location and customer service. It also has 2 bedroom condos http://caymanhotels.net/cayman_beachfront_condos.htm

You might also want to try caymanvacations.com - lots of options that probably include Plantana.

The Turtlenest Inn and Reef Resort are very different. The Turtlenest Inn is closer to Georgetown, but the beach doesn't come close to the nice beach at the Reef Resort. The Reef Resort has a beautiful deep and long beach, and there are several pools, hot tubs, tennis courts, restaurant, beach bar, dive shop, etc. The Turtlenest Inn is a nice place, but doesn't have near as nice of beach or other activities. Also, the Turtlenest Inn is on a very busy road, while the Reef Resort is on the quiet side of the island, with a much more "get away from it all" feeling.
