Also, if Nevis do you actually mean which cottage (villa) or in the case of a regular room do you mean which building? If the latter, than all the buildings are about the same distance from the beach (probably no more than 50'). 1st floor gives you direct access to beach from your patio, second floor gives you slightly better view of water but you'll have a longer walk (2 minutes) from your room to beach.

Oops...i guess more info would help. I am referring to Nevis 4S...and the main buildings...unfortunately not villas. Any info on this resort, I would truly appreciate..heading there in July...thx

We stayed on the first floor for one night and then the second floor for the rest of our stay, and we preferred the second floor room. We liked having the privacy of the screened porch. We ate breakfast out there almost every morning, and felt removed from the staff and guests walking along the paths in front of the first floor rooms. The extra few steps that it took to leave our room to get to the beach were hardly a problem.
