Christie,
Surely your man took a picture of you. How about posting one?
Overall sounds like you had a decent but not super great time. If that's true I'm sorry.
You seem like the type who will enjoy Negril, be it with hubbie or with any of the many Fodorites who have/will volunteer to go along with you.

hi christie, wow you really packed alot into your short trip. both good and bad. really too bad about the cop/ticket. the other things are just life as it is i guess.
now some time ago i decided to stop promoting provo. it is my favorite island, but it too is becoming too developed for my taste. however i have read your posts reH and i really think it is an island he would enjoy. it is small, flat and has very straight roads. no macd's but plenty of places to get burgers and american style food. it is a very easy island to get comfortable on because of its size. the local people are very nice. there is very little shopping. no "nightlife" to speak of, although there is always someplace to find people to hang with.
the beaches are fabulous with unbelievably soft, white sand. the snorkeling is very good off the beach and there are excursions daily to the reef that protects 12 mile long grace bay beach. the diving is world class with 7000' walls.
there are alot of villas available as well as condo - all directly on the beach.
mm - if you go back to christie's webshots page you will find a photo or her in her aruba collection.

mm,
DH did not take any pictures..I am the picture taker.
virginia,
Yes..Provo sounds like a place that DH would enjoy. We are not going anywhere for a while..however I like to research for the future.Next trip could be Provo,Grand Cayman or Bonaire..its so hard to decide.
Faith,
I agree that Trunk Bay makes a beautiful picture...I have a picture of it as my background on my computer.
I also have underwater pictures..I just need to take the time to download them from the CD..I will let you all know when I add them.
