Cayman Islands in May

How hot will it be in the Caymans in May? We were there in November and got stuck in the hurricane and want to have great weather if we go again. Has anyone been there the last week of May? Reports show it might be humid and rainy?

temps should be in upper 80's. if you keep scrolling down you'll find weather history back to 1997: http://www.wunderground.com/history/...Cayman+Islands

Haven't been the last week of May but we went the first week of June 2007. It was pretty hot but the only time it was something that bothered us was when we went on a horseback ride. I can't remember how long the ride lasted, but we didn't take any water with us and were parched by the time it was done. Other than that, it was no big deal.

The only rain we saw was sprinkles for about 5 to 10 minutes one day.

We've been the 3rd week of April and the 2nd week of November. Both times we had good weather. April was a little more windier. The water was quite choppy, but didn't deter us from snorkeling. November was cooler and we had a rain shower for about 20 minutes one day only. I think May should be a little more on the hotter side, but still nice. May and November are our two favorite months to travel.

Weather should be similar to when you went in November (but without the bizarrely late season Hurricane we had last year).

Now, the bad news is that the last week in May is typically subject to changeable weather as that if often when we get the "change of season", so I'd recommend either going in the first half of May or from second week in June onwards.
