Car Rental in St Maarten
I have been reading the posted info on St. Maarten and someone suggested Kenny's Car Rental.......Does he have a web site or e-mail address? We will be going down in about 3 weeks, so I had better have some wheels.
Thanks a bunch!!

We go to SXM monthly and I have honestly never heard of Kenny's Car Rental. We've used just about all of them over the course of ten years and have steadily stuck with Best Deal for the last few. They're the best, in our opinion, and they book on line, as well. Just do a search.
Just another suggestion. Have fun on your trip!

You are most kind.....I will take you up on your offer. What are good places to eat? We like to try from the very best to almost eating with the native population. Most of the time the native stuff is better. Can you suggest a good sailboat charter for a day or two. We can bareboat or go with crew.
Thanks again for all your help.

Hi Goer442,
My personal fave for local fare is the "Lolos" in Grand Case. They have recently been renovated and they are literal food shacks with everything from grilled lobster to rice and peas. Wonderful local food at great prices.
For a nicer, more elegant meal, try one of the restaurants at the marina in Marigot. Or, a restaurant on "Restaurant Row" in Grand Case. I like a lot of places in both locations, so I can't offer a personal favorite. The only "so-so" meal I've had in either place was at "California" in Grand Case. Otherwise, you can't really go wrong in my opinion.
I've honestly never done a sailboat charter, but you could start checking out places in Oyster Pond for that sort of thing. Sorry I can't be of more help in that area. I think sailboat charters are also available out of Simpson Bay....try Bobby's Marina, as well.
