BReakfast Buffet @ Atlantis
Hi - I'm leaving in a few days for Atlantis and am wondering what the breakfast buffet's cost. If anyone knows the adult / child prices, I'd really appreciate it. We're going with a group and breakfast was included but now it turns out it's a daily credit for breakfast of $25 for adults and $10 for the kids. So now I'm wondering if this will cover it or not.
Thanks in advance

schmerl - thanks so much for the info. I should be good then.
Marbleheadguy - sorry your wife didn't enjoy her trip. I'm looking at it this way - it will be much warmer than NJ is right now and it's a basically free trip (except for lunch and dinner) so it will be all good even if it isn't perfect.
I'll write a trip report when I get back.

mom2three,
We have always enjoyed our stays at Atlantis. When we ate at the breakfast buffet, we were always too full for lunch.
Our favorite dinner restaurants at the Atlantis were Villa D'Este and the Bahamian Club. There are other restaurants within walking distance that are off the resort grounds and are less expensive.
Enjoy the great beach, pools and wonderful aquariums.

Thanks schmerl and scarbourough mom for the info. My credits should just cover the Marketplace Buffet breakfast which is great as I was hoping to do exactly what you suggest and fill up enough to skip lunch.
Bad reviews aside, I'm really looking forward to this vacation finally. I've realized that I just need to accept that food is overpriced and get over it before I leave and just have fun. My kids are on cloud nine about this trip and hae already asked if we can go again. When reminded that they've never been there yet, their response is well we've read all about it and seen all the pictures so we know we'll love it.
Gotta love that positive attitude.

mom2three: I am with schmerl. We enjoyed our stay there as well. I second her dinner faves : Bahamian club and villa d este.
There was a place by one of the pools that had a lunch special. I think it was like four burgers, four fries and four cokes for $28. or something like that. It was a good lunch deal.
Enjoy!
