Been to The Sands

We have been to the Sands on Grace Bay and loved it. We want to go back in March but want to try a new place on Grace Bay. This may be our last trip for a while as we are going try and have a baby....anyway...How is the Alexandra Resort. Also what about Grace bay club or Point Grace...which is the one where famous people stay...HELP in making a memorable trip!

Thanks!!!!!!!!

Point Grace was voted best boutique resort. Never stayed there but I only hear good things from people who have. I would say if its just the two of you go for Point Grace

Both point Grace and Grace Bay Club are awesome.

Parrot Cay is where all the famous go.

I haven't stayed at Point Grace or Grace Bay Club, but we did explore and walk through both. My husband and I agreed that we liked Point Grace a lot more.

I really like their set-up and just the quiet vibe of Point Grace. We looked in one of the rooms as the cleaning lady was finishing up. It looked amazing, and I loved their pool/bar area.

Thank you all so much.
How does the Alexandra compare. It seems it maybe be more affordable but is there a reason.
Thanks again!

belle, My family has been to The Sands several times over the last few years. Last summer, my husband and I had a chance to go to T & C alone and we picked Point Grace. Everything about Point Grace is low key luxury. The rooms are beautiful, the service is supurb, and best of all, no kids. The sign by the pool reads "Quiet Zone". We enjoyed the location as we could walk to The Sands, to see our old friends at Hemmingways, or Bay Bistro. We also walked to Grace Bay Club for dinner at Anocoana. All were excellant, as well as Grace's Cottage at Point Grace. Your rate at PG includes a complementary breakfast and at 5:00 to 6:00 complimentary hor d ourves and drinks. Hope this helps.

If you want something more affordable, you might want to look at the Palms' website as you they frequently run night free specials.

The Alexandra is cheaper because they are still under construction, but the building that they would put you in is far enough away from that.and is ocean front. The rooms are really nice just ask for the Lady Rose building
