Bahamas Advice
My wife and I are considering a four night stay in the bahamas - where we have never visited before. We like the idea of a big resort (Atlantis is sold out) that offers top shelf services and amenities. Any recommendations?
Thanks!

If you are talking about the "One and Only Ocean Club" it is not part of the Atlantis group. Last I knew it was a part of the One and Only resort group. If you want a top service location other than Atlantis look into the Riu Paradise Island or the One and Only Ocean Club resort. They both are on next to Atlantis on the same beach.

Actually, Kerzner International owns both Atlantis, The One and Only properties (as well as many others)..and Harbourside, where they partner with Starwood property management.
Ocean Club is a beautiful upscale resort with full access to Atlantis.
There's also a Four Seasons in Exuma as well as several boutique top shelf properties like Kamalame Cay in Andros.

We've stayed at Sandals Royal Bahamian and loved it.
We did a day trip to Atlantis and thought the place was a montrosity with too many people and kids running around. Felt like Las Vegas in the summer. Staff was not only very unfriendly, but down right hateful.
Also check out Conmfort Suites. Though not luxury, it does have exchange privledges with Atlantis.
