I need some help deciding where to stay in the Bahamas. I am a 31 year old single guy traveling alone and wanted to get some suggestions on where to stay. I'm not looking for really expensive hotels or resrots. I dont want to stay at the Atlantis because I heard they are expensive and you have to pay for some of the hotel amenities. I want something affordable and close to the action...Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Are you wanting to say on Nassau? The out islands really don't offer much in the way of "action".

I would like to stay close to the Casino and restaurants and bars/clubs. I guess i'm looking for something close to the Atlantis but not the Atlantis.

The comfort inn has an agreement with the atlantis. You can sleep there and have full access to the atlantis. I would check into that.

or check out the Wyndham on Cable beach. Good prices, big pool with lots of activities, jet skis nearby, and the casino is in that hotel.
