Aruba Restaurants

We are a family of five (4 adults and 1 child) traveling to Aruba in March for spring break. We are staying at the Marriott Stellaris Resort and are looking for restaurants for the week. We are looking for everything from light lunch fare to upscale dinner options. Our son is 5 but very well behaved. We really would like a couple of "unforgettable" dining options for dinner that we can have an amazing meal with a fabulous bottle of wine and enjoy a leisurely dinner. We tend to avoid restaurants that cater to families with children (loud, bad food, themed), we just want a great meal. Also my husband loves to snorkel. If there are any recommendations for snorkel trips on the island, he would appreciate it. Thank you in advance. Tracey

Have not been years but, sent friends last year to Sunset Grill at the Raddison and they said it was fantastic and went twice. It was our favorite years ago and it sounds like it still is !!

We were there a few years ago, but loved El Gauchos steak house. Also, liked the Chalet Suisse.
Our kids were a little older than yours, but we used the Marriott's dinner babysitting (group) in their clubhouse. They watch the kids from 6-9pm and take them for a pizza dinner at Champions on property. We ate at Simply Fish at the Marriott on the beach that night and gambled a little. It was nice to have an adult night out. Our kids ranged from 7-10 between our two families and they had a good time.
Our kids were accepted in every restaurant we went to.
Back when we went, I found the bulletin board aruba-bb.com had a lot of valuable information on aruba from aruba regulars.
We enjoyed the Marriott.
