You should move to Newfoundland... people are always available to socialize and work doesn't come first... there are other places in Canada to live that are just as nice.. don't base the country on one province.... : D

Nope - not accurate. I've lived in Toronto most of my adult life (came here to go to university) and I never had a problem socializing with friends. My friends and I get together frequently.

I have a friend from out west and he has lived all over Canada and he says Toronto is actually the friendliest place he has lived in.
I am inclined to think that just maybe people don't want to socialize with you (I have no idea why that would be. Perhaps you should find a hobby, volunteer, take a course etc etc instead of moping around waiting for people to entertain you.)
