The Trip Planner feature of the Weather Underground website is a great way of finding historical weather data in a specific place during a specific date range:
http://www.wunderground.com/tripplanner/index.asp
It tells you the average day time high and the average night time low as well as the highest high and the lowest low during the specified date range. It also tells you if there was snow, rain, fog, wind, etc.

Is it too cool? Depends on what you want to do. For hiking, biking, sightseeing it shd be ok. It will probably be cool. People in NS usually don't plant their flowers until mid-June(except for pansies which are hardier & like cool weather). It will definitely be too cool for swimming in the ocean! If your schedule allows, why not defer the NB/NS/PEI trip until mid-July/early Aug when the weather will be a lot warmer.
