Victoria for 3 days
Hi, I will be going to Victoria April 2 to 4. I was hoping for some indoor and outdoor suggestions for this weekend. I did read about a lot of museum and the Zipline. For Whale watching it is probably to early.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Hi Jule_09
I loved just soaking in the energy in the harbour area with the Parliament buildings lit up at night and the handsome Empress Hotel as backdrop (buskers entertaining, people watching the boats come in). The Royal BC Museum has the best exhibits I've seen on Pacific Coast First Nations anywhere, if you're interested in that. Even if "gardens" don't sound like your cup of tea, I still recommend a visit to Butchart Gardens... I'd never seen anything quite like it in my life prior... a well-presented eye-popping layout of some mind-blowingly gorgeous flora. Biking on Dallas Road was a beautiful, aromatic (lots of California lilac smell carried by the waterfront breezes) experience along the coast of the Juan de Fuca strait... if the weather is nice, I'd recommend!
Have fun! Daniel

Not too early for whale watching at all. I would suggest that you go if you are interested. The museum also has an Imax Theatre. There are double decker bus tours of the area. The Empress hotel is worth a visit. The weather should not be too bad for the weekend

Julie_09,
an unknown garden charm is the abkhazi garden at fairfield and foul bay roads. it was a private estate now owned by the land conservancy.
the water taxi's that cruise the harbour and gorge are a great way to see the city from the water.
the beach below dallas road @ beacon hill park is a short walk access our lovely downtown park and popular w/ visitors and locals alike . great views of the olympics on a clear day. walk through the part via the petting zoo and check out the goats and happy children. we also have a small art gallery and you could visit it and craigdarroch castle together.
if you want to cover some territory, rent a bicycle we have great bike trails
welcome to victoria
