Ucluelet and Tofino lodging

Whew...I've been hunting and hunting trying to find the right combination of lodging.
Privacy, oceanview, and not tooooo bank-breaking.
Under $300....closer to $200 would be great.

Any suggestions??

By privacy, do you mean you're looking for a vacation rental, as opposed to a lodge or inn?

If not, Middle Beach Lodge has a variety of room types that are in your budget.

http://www.tourismtofino.com go to accommodations and use the booking software to aid in your search.

Wanderer...Yes a Guest Suite or Cottage would be wonderful!
Middle Beach Lodge also looks very nice.

Thanks Sam....I found a few new options!!

I found two great places:

We've booked into both of them...4 nights in Tofino and two in Ucluelet.

Another vote for Middle Beach Lodge. Check out their packages -- there's a few during May, including whale watching, kayak, and surf lessons, all for $149/night including the activity. We have done the whale watching twice.

Anyways, the views are great, the grounds are wonderful, and it is off the road on the ocean (meaning you have some nice privacy). We love the place.

Why did you decide to split up your stay? The two towns are quite close to each other--I would just stay in one place rather than pack up and move.

We're splitting the time because the first place only had 4 nights available.....don't mind the move.
All in all we're staying in 8 places during our three weeks.

Make sure to go for a seaplane ride - it's just so pretty out there!
