Roger: There's a number of ways. You can fly via floatplane or jetcopter, which only takes a few minutes. You can rent a car and take the BC Ferry. Or you can take a bus which will take you from Vancouver straight to Victoria and the price includes the ferry. Hopefully another reader can give you the bus details.

The simplest method would be to fly from airport to airport, then take the AKAL bus into Victoria. You could book that flight now from home with Pacific Coastal / Air Canada / whoever is flying there.
Hawkair, showing prices now of about $77 one way, also runs flights to Victoria but I think they are located in the "South Terminal," a $15 taxi ride away.

The bus method would no doubt be cheaper if they are running from the airport these days.

Pacific Coach Lines does have a bus that will take you from the Vancouver airport right into downtown Victoria. Have a look at their website and it will give you the details. It goes on to the ferry; you re-board the bus when you dock in Victoria and it takes you right into the city.

Isn't it possible for you to fly to Victoria rather than Vancouver?
Even if you have to make a plane change at Vancouver International, the cost should not be significantly more than if you flew just to Vancouver (and it will take you less time). Just wondering? (I know it is possible when flying in Canada, but I don't know where your flight originates).

Your best bet is Pacific Coach Lines which will pick you up at the airport, take you onto the ferry, and deliver you to downtown Victoria. All the information you need re this can be found at www.pacificcoach.com

. In fact, I was looking for something cheaper, like buses or ferrys. Thank's again. Roger
