Tsawwassen to Airport
How far is it from the Ferry Terminal in Vancouver to the Airport? We were planning to take a 9AM ferry from Victoria to Vancouver arriving at approx 10:45AM. We have to be at the airport no later than 11:30AM for a 1PM flight back to NY. Can we count on the ferry to be on time? Also, can we expect taxis to be at the ferry terminal or are there shuttles to the airport.

A taxi will cost you $C50+.
http://www.yvr.ca/ might offer some info on options.
How are you travelling from Victoria to the Ferry Terminal at Swartz Bay?Are you aware that it's well outside the city?

Morning Ferries are more likely to be on time than later in the day but there are never any guarantees as many have found out to their chagrin over the years.

Swartz Bay is the closest ferry termional for Vancouver bound passengers. If you took the bus to Vancouver via the ferry from just behind the Empress hotel, I believe that bus makes a stop either at an Airport Hotel just before crossing the bridge into Vancouver or at 41st and Cambie either one of which is a much less expensive Taxi ride than one from Tsawwassen.
You might check at the bus depot when you're in Victoria but certainly it is a waste of money to cab it from downtown Victoria to Swartz Bay and from Tsawwassen to YVR. Also because you go through US customs before boarding your NY bound plane it's always a good idea to give yourselves at least 90 minutes from the time you check in to the time you board the plane.

Pacific Coach lines (http://www.pacificcoach.com/) leave Victoria at 8am, catch the ferry you mention, and get to YVR at 11.25.
If that's a bit fine, how about by helicopter for a grand finale (www.helijet.com)

Can you advise on the travel time from the airport to the Tsawwassen Ferry on a Sunday? We land at 1:20 pm, then pick up a car and have a reservation on the 3:15pm ferry to Nanaimo. Will that work? Wish I would have found this site before I made the reservation! Also, can you advise driving time from Nanaimo to Campbell River and from Campbell River to Tofino and Tofino to Victoria (Empress Hotel)? We're doing this over a three day period. Mahalo!

ALANACAZ - The drive between the airport and Tsawwassen takes about half an hour during good traffic. You should also be at the ferry terminal 45 minutes before its sailing time - so you should be at the terminal at 2:30. That means that you're only playing with a window of about an hour and 10 minutes to leave the plane, get your bags, go through immigration (if necessary), go to the car rental, sign the appropriate papers, get your car and drive to Tsawwassen.
I'd personally opt for a later sailing just to be safe, but who's to say. I've never actually flown into Vancouver to rush to a ferry within such a short time period - maybe others have done this?

My post from last night didn't go through - trying again...
Mersky, you can't count on any ferry to be on time or to even run. Taking the bus is probably your best bet because as long as they get to the terminal, they board. When are you travelling? Be aware that the highway between Victoria and the ferry is currently being paved and, aside from that, the odd accident can cause delays. Most often the buses make the ferry, but if it was me, I would take an earlier ferry or even one the night before. I think you are cutting it too close.
Alanacaz, just curious if you have some reason for going all the way to Campbell River before going to Tofino and then Victoria. That would be a lot to cover in three days, for me anyway. I would skip the Campbell River part.
