Theater in Toronto summer 2012

Are there any shows this summer in Toronto?
I've been in Toronto before and saw Lion King and Mamma Mia.
DH and I are planning a trip including a few days in Toronto in early August.
Planning on doing Second City but would also like another show.

If you can spare the time (a day trip from Toronto), check out these for (arguably) some of the best theatre in the world.

www.stratfordfestival.ca and

www.shawfest.com

This second one, you can also combine with a visit to Niagara Falls, or remain in the beautiful town of Niagara-on-the-lake where the festival takes place. Lots or wineries in this area too, if that interests you.

The Soulpepper troupe stages plays through the summer in repertory at the Young Theatre in the Distillery district, itself an attraction, east of the lower downtown. They do dramas and comedies at a high standard, just across a lane from the Mill Street microbrewery which isn't so micro any more. The experience will be more distinctive than chasing down touring versions of international Broadway/West End spectacles, and probably cheaper. https://www.soulpepper.ca/
