Posting on the Lonely Planet Thorn Tree is hardly indicative of a high level of intelligence. Most of the posters there are bored office workers who have never done any real travelling or hippies who hang out in places like Khao San Rd and are stoned most of the time and I have yet to see much useful travel information on that board. Ask a question there that requires any sort of travel experience and it will go unanswered. The place is a haven for trolls.
