Butchart Gardens is open year-round, and there's always something to look at. Whether the weather will be pleasant enough for you to enjoy walking around and looking is another question, and at this time of year it's not easily predictable.

I assume you're aware that Butchart Gardens is in Victoria, not in Vancouver, right?

In Vancouver, we had excellent dinners at Vij's (Indian with a twist) and Earl's on Hornby.

Stephanos always has a line on Davie. But the price and food are fantastic! There are several Greek restaurants in the area.

Oh, I forgot -- Havana on Commercial Avenue. It was great and very atmospheric. Sit outside if the weather's nice enough. We went there twice.

I was at the Buchart Gardens on Thursday and they were spectacular. If you enjoy gardens, you'll love this one.

Hi, You may want to check out Feenies. It is chef Rob Feenies{from Lumiere} casual bistro. Food is excellent at a fraction of the price at Lumiere. Also Trafalgers is always good. We also have fantastic chinese and japanese restaurants.
