Point Pelee/Leamington area restaurants

Hi, all,

We'll be making a family trip down to the Leamington area in a couple weeks to visit family. A visit to Point Pelee will definitely be part of our itinerary, to visit the spit and walk the marsh boardwalk.

Any suggestions for restaurants in the area? Casual and tasty are the only real criteria.

Tks!

There must be someone who has been to this area.

I don't know the area at all, but I'm wondering if you might be better off posting on chowhound.com - might get more responses. Good luck!

If you like fresh Lake Erie fish try Paula's Fish Place south of town on the way to the park. There are a couple of places for Mexican food that we like. One (The Mexican Restaurant and Taco House) is on the north side of Talbot east of Erie and the other (Taco Tonys) is on the east side of Erie south of Talbot. Taco Tonys seems to cater to Mexican farm workers so it feels pretty Mexican. We have not been to Leamington in a couple of years so thing may have changed.
