Niagara on the Lake B&Bs

Hi. I'm heading to NOTL at the end of this month after being in Toronto on business. My hubby is meeting me and we're going to have a nice getaway, so want it to be special yet not too pricey. We're going during the week right after Memorial Day, so most places have lots of availability. I'm looking for romance, ambience, fireplace in room, jacuzzi tub, gourmet breakfasts (I don't ask for much..haha) Any recommendations? I'm leaning toward Lake Winds but saw others. I'd love input from people who have actually stayed at any of the B&Bs in this area. Thank you!

Stacy & Josh: Forget the B&B. Go w/ Queen's Landing Hotel! It has romance, ambience, f/p in the room, jacuzzi(small), good breakfast (not really 'gourmet'..whatever that means these days.....the gourmets are still sleeping from cooking dinner the night b/f...

Is Queens Landing the place that is haunted? i watched Creepy Canada a month or so back, and there were several places at NOTL that are apparently haunted... they say people would like to know in advance, not after they have booked in... so i thought i would bud in and mention this.

Having heard many mixed reviews on the Queens Landing and the Prince of Whales. I booked the Harbor House Inn.

It was wonderful. The place is an Inn, but is more like a B&B. Great bkfst in the am, and wine in the evening. They have romance, fireplace in the room, jacuzzi tub.

Also, they provide complimentary transportation to whereever you want to go in NOTL.

Here is the web site. www.harbourhousehotel.ca

I forgot about Harbour House! Tina is right...that wld be an excellent choice for you!
When I stayed @ Queens Landing there were no ghosts in our room! This is the first I've heard of the "haunted" factor! ( how do you make a spooky face on the keyboard? All I know how to do is a smiley!)
