Montreal with a 9 year old

(going on 21!) I am taking my granddaughter to Montreal for her spring break in early April. We've made arrangements to stay in Old Montreal. As we'll only be there for 3 full days, we need to plan carefully, and would love some activity recommendations.
Thank you.

Hi, ATA. We stayed in Old Montreal in February with my 10 year-old son. Your granddaughter will probably like the Science Centre, which is hands-on and interactive and also has an IMAX theater. My son really enjoyed this. We also visited the Olympic Park and the Insectarium (not sure if she's into the creepy crawly stuff as my son is, but they do have quite a collection of beautiful butterflies). We also visited the Museum of Fine Art where there is on exhibit the treasures of Catherine the Great including her coronation coach (I believe it is there until the beginning of May). We were only there for 2 days and then moved on to Quebec City. Hope this helps and enjoy your trip with your granddaughter!

Hi, again, ATA. I used this web site while planning. It will give you locations and links to some of the places I mentioned:

The Biodome at the Olympic Park is a must for a 9 year old. Much of the Biodome is an indoor tropical rainforset, with parrots flying overhead, creatures in the trees, etc. Very fun place for all ages.
