Montreal Hotels - Suites, St. Sulpice or Marriott Springhill

My family is leaving for Montreal soon. Since we are a family of four (two children, ages 7 and 12), these suite hotels were recommended. Although I am hesitant on the Springhill Suites, it gets good reviews on this site. Has anybody stayed at the St. Sulpice? Is it worth $100 CAD more per night over the Marriott? We'd like a nice place.

Sorry if this is a duplicate post. I couldn't find my original message. Thanks.

I don't know either of those hotels, but I know one that I think is outstanding: Hotel-Suites Le Faubourg, http://www.hotelfaubourg.com/

The address is not trendy but the location is convenient, the suites are big and well-appointed and the staff is wonderful.

A GREAT place is the L'hotel 19th siecle. Great location, great staff, very reasonable price and excellent rooms. Almost too good to be true! Look at their web site. You will not be disappointed. We were there in June 2003.
