Long Range snow predictions.

The prognosis for a good snow season in Australia don't look good ! Is there a site in Canada that gives long range predictions for the upcoming winter ?

snow really depends on the area while some areas can pretty much have snow from Nov - April others are lucky to have it come & go in Dec & March with their major snow fall being Jan & Feb.
But some areas have been known to have it in Sept & last until May.
Only site I know that has predictions is http://www.almanac.com/weather/weather.canada.php
Others may now another site.

Environment Canada (do a Google search for "Environment Canada", and follow the links to forecasts) provides precipitation and temperature for all the regions of Canada. However, I find that they are not very accurate, especially the long range forecasts.

That being said, you can always count on snow in most parts of Canada at some point during the winter, especially during January !!!

The best indicator for Muskoka Ontario is how soon the eggcorns fall from the tree and how many.... if they fall early, and plenty it will be a long harsh winter.....
Seems to hold true.!

I cross my fingers for a long winter season. Can't wait to see the first snow.
